not sure what you mean crude ? the pegs are black anodized, hopefully i wont melt my boot heels to the pipe, and no guards to prevent heel of boot on pipe? i will get any funky shit sorted out i hope after install and test run.
I also did the speiglar lsl bar riser kit and chelaxes the ergos, my only concern is scraping the pegs even tho i dont do max leans

Thanks Streetsweeper...you'll be pleasantly surprised what a huge difference that 1 3/8" makes in comfort, especially on older knees.

Buell Lightning Pegs used to cost $15 each from Harley. They are sturdy. My Cousin weighs 350# and they held his weight. Buell Lightning look more stock. I now pay $46 a pair. When I was younger having my knees higher did not bother me. But joining the Senior age rider My Hips are not so flexible. I really enjoy the pegs and now a higher seat.

have just installed the Knight Design 1 3/8" lowered front foot pegs too...
excellent stuff... being 6'6" am now wondering what took me so long to get them!
besides making legs more comfortable while riding, i also appreciate the fact that my feet have now slight pedal contact
IMHO, makes upshifting gears easier, and rear braking becomes more accurate...

I scored a set from a guy who decided he didn't like them. I was hesitant to pay the asking price for new ones in case I didn't like them, but the $50 I gave for the gently used ones was not wasted.

2016 ZX 14R SE, best street bike I’ve ever owned. Set it up for sport touring, Apex bars, givi bags, Piaa bulbs. I still have lots of stuff to change and add but when it came to foot pegs I could not find a suitable option the ones I tried moved your foot out board and did not address the shifter and brake lever,( 59 yrs. 5 knee surgery’s) So I did the next best thing I fabricated my own. I moved them in the same plane the original mount is angled 3 inches down which netted me 1 3/4 inches fwd., shortened the shift lever and lengthened the brake lever. It totally transformed the bike to max. Comfort. A side benefit was better rear brake modulation due to more leverage. If I Knew how to post pics I would, when I figure it out I will. I am in the process of maybe putting a CNC kit together to sell.

It's easiest to put your pic on the desktop first. Give it a name you will be able to find easily alphabetically because that is how pics get organized by default in your forum pic album and there's no way to reorganize them.
go to this icon in the message bar but use the one with the + sign.
click CHOOSE. Navigate to desktop and select your pic.
click UPLOAD.
your pic album will open. click in the message box and then you click the pic you want. it will post the proper code and when you post, there's your pic.
I'd love to see the CNC lathe.

Thanks, it is truly amazing what a few inches on the handle bars and foot pegs do for the ZX14R. It transforms it into a world class sport tourer for almost half the money and did I mention the motor. Sorry c14 riders more comfort, more powerful, lighter, better handling, smooth motor.
